Dave created FEAST. FEAST ran bustling harbour-side street food events and farmers' markets in Aberaeron in 2019. FEAST adopts successful community market models seen in London and mixes Street Food and Local Producers in a family friendly environment. FEAST aims to be a platform for Welsh food producers and to increase community access to local chefs and international cuisines not readily available in Cardigan Bay.
We launched summer 2019 in the boat yard at the Aberaeron Yacht Club. The first event attracted interest from over 1000 people. We subsequently ran 3 more events over the 2019 summer picking up 1800 social media followers in the process (3000 across FB and IG by the end of the year)
In August 2019 we trialled FRIDAY NIGHT FEAST a concept based around Dinner, Desserts and Drinks that proved hugely popular.
In October 2019 we launched FEAST Farmers’ Market- a smaller twice-monthly community produce and street food market.
COVID-19 has put a temporary pause on FEAST. But FEAST is creatively restless. It’s potential is limitless... with a little nurturing
