Hult London Undergraduate - RIBA National Winner

  • Winner:  RIBA National Awards & RIBA London Regional Awards 2015
  • Finalist:  AJ Retrofit Awards & The Wood Awards 2015

In Feb 2011 Dave first stood inside what was then a part derelict Grade 2 listed brewery on the outskirts of the city.  He knew it was ideal for Hult but it took two years to pursued them.  The building offered the opportunity to deliver a warehouse-like, industrial-style modern campus, which draws on the buildings history, heritage and the tech and media outlets found in nearby Shoreditch and Spitalfields.

Sergison Bates Architects were commissioned to design the incredible interiors and turn a rich collection of unusual spaces into a cohesive and exciting space for undergraduate education- winning two RIBA awards in the process.

Dave led the project for Hult and it reopened in 2014 as a university campus for over 800 international undergraduates.

"Dave's passion for building development, his attention to detail and his commitment all contributed to an outstanding outcome." – Chris Holmes, COO, Hult

"I saw our new London UG campus for the first time yesterday. It is absolutely gorgeous - coolest looking school that I have seen!” - Jannicke Roos, Global Head Undergraduate Programme, Hult

"I love my accommodation and the new campus; it’s just so different from any other university I have been to, AMAZING! It seems fitting that everything is as modern as in the modern business world” - Hult Student, USA
